Many managers within the data centre industry require easy, straightforward access to racks, KVM switches, and the servers themselves. For their life’s to be as easy as possible it is essential to have direct access via LCD Consoles also known as ‘Admin Consoles‘.
Well, what is an Admin Console? This is the combination of a LCD LED monitor display, combined with a built in keyboard and mouse, as an alternative to a Crash Cart Trolley. Thus allowing the user to easily input commands, monitor, access or control the required server with ease.
That is exactly what the ‘CL1000’ is direct, easy, local rack access.
The CL1000 is a LCD KVM console that serves as the front-end for standard KVM switches.
Featuring an integrated 17″ or 19” LED-backlit LCD panel, full keyboard, and touchpad in a 1U, rack-mountable, Slideaway™ housing.
Data Centre Managers who already have a switch can take advantage of the space saving and efficiency benefits of the CL1000. The CL1000 LCD KVM console has an ultra slim design being less than <1U ; therefore the existing KVM switch can fit directly under the unit or elsewhere in the rack.
This model provides convenient ‘at the rack’ console access to KVM switches already installed at your site.
Key Features to note:
- Exclusive LED illumination light – designed by ATEN to illuminate the keyboard and touchpad to allow visibility in low-light conditions
- Integrated KVM console with 17″ or 19” LED-backlit LCD monitor
- Sliding housing with top and bottom clearance for smooth operation in a 1U high system rack
- Supports input video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200@60 Hz
